This webinar is aimed to discuss various techniques to be applied by senior professionals in Offshore Development Centers (ODC) of global organizations to succeed as Team Leaders. Techniques are being suggested for team leaders in ODC to convince the Head Office (HO) management to offshore core and complex projects to their teams, instead of being offshored mostly peripheral projects as is the norm in many global companies; and then be able to attract/hire/motivate team members to successfully deliver on these projects. Further, currently senior professionals in ODCs do not rise to global top positions of the company, like global VP-Engineering, CTO, CEO, etc. Techniques are being suggested for global career growth of these professionals, like the new skills to be learnt; strategic roles/responsibilities to be handled, beyond managing projects, to be groomed for handling global top roles; getting higher exposure to HO strategies/activities despite being based in the ODC; and getting a fair assessment & selection process for reaching global top positions.
