Workshops for first year students
Bharati Vidyappeth's Institute of Computer Applcations and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi organized workshops for its first year of students as part of Saturday activities. First workshop was held on 11th Jan 2020 based on trends in Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence by Mr. Shailesh and Mr. Rahul from 3SR Consultancy. During the workshop students were given exposure on what is Data Science, Machine Learning and similar popular terms everyone is talking about these days in the Industry. The students were given guidance on how to start with these technologies and what career they can make in this domain.
Second workshop was held on 18th Jan 2020 on Soft Skills by Ms. Preksha Gabba who worked in NIIT technologies. She started with fun-activities which made every student sitting in the class excited to participate and made them encouraged. Those activities ended up with a lesson where they realized the importance of communication skills and how communication gap creates disappointments in different phases when we work in teams or groups. Followed by these activities was very interactive session where the students were given a debatable topic and every student was asked to share his or her views. Throughout the session was binding and it gave up lessons to students. At the end the students shared their experiences and gave feedback & appreciation to the speaker.
Every saturday BVICAM organizes such workshops for its students of first year and second year, so that students learn about some new technologies and other aspects of professional life, apart from their academic curriculum.
