Report:

The workshop was aimed to provide an understanding on different Machine Learning Algorithms and using Python for Machine Learning. The session began with the welcome address by Prof. M. N. Hoda, Director, BVICAM, New Delhi. The two days online workshop was conducted by Dr. Imran Khan, Assistant Professor, BVICAM, New Delhi. On the first day of the workshop, the participants were given a better understanding on Python features, Data Structures in Python, Functions with OOPs concepts, an introduction to various Python IDEs along with a hands-on session on exploring python for simple problems. Second day of the workshop, began with an introduction on machine learning with various algorithms using examples. Dr. Imran demonstrated how models are created, trained and tested using these algorithms through a hands-on session. He also outlined the importance of text analysis in his session. Overall the workshop provided all the participants with a good platform where they could learn machine learning and python.

The workshop session concluded with the words of inspiration by Prof. M. N. Hoda. He extended his appreciation towards Dr. Imran for his valuable and knowledgeable session and thanked all the participants for attending this workshop with full zeal and enthusiasm. The workshop was attended by 73 participants. All the participants gave their valuable feedback and they were awarded with certificates of participation electronically.
