WholeBrain Thinking

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi, in association with IEEE Delhi Section & Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), AICTE organized one day Faculty Development Programme on WholeBrain Thinking by Dr. Shankar Goenka, Empathizer, Country Head of WOW Factors India Pvt. Ltd. on 15^th July 2017. The main goal of the FDP was to enlighten the attendees or educationist about effective and joyful teaching through Whole Brain approach.

With his talk on The journey to become a WholeBrain Teacher, Dr. Goenka discussed about WholeBrain thinking preferences, functions of left and right brain, WholeBrain Teacher-Learner relationship, WholeBrain classroom environment etc. With the beautiful content delivery, the session took a deep dive into the effects and power of WOW factors responsible for living life freely without stress. Few interesting case studies and activities were conducted through which the participants learnt to create ideal teaching and learning environment for their students. They also gained an idea of keeping a perfectly balanced healthy relationship between the three entities – management, teachers and students, for gaining successful competitive edge.

Around 80 candidates from both academia and industry participated in the FDP and enjoyed the session very much. At the end all the participants were awarded with the certificates. The event was flawlessly coordinated by Dr. Vishal Jain and Dr. Anupam Baliyan, BVICAM
