AICTE’s Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi, in collaboration with Computer Society of India (CSI), IEEE Delhi Section, IEEE Computer Society, Consultants Network Affinity Group, Inter Society Relations, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Delhi Centre and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Delhi Section organized an online webinar on “The Art of becoming a Successful Team Leader for Global Organizations” was conducted on 22nd  May, 2021.

The Webinar was held in the benign presence of Prof. Subrata Mukhopadhyay, Chairperson, CNA Group and Former Chairperson, IEEE Delhi Section, Shri Ajay Goel, Prof. A. K. Saini, Vice President-cum-President Elect, CSI. The webinar began with the welcome address by Prof. Subrata Mukhopadhyay welcoming all the guests and participants. Prof. A.K. Saini also motivated the participants with his words. Prof. M. N. Hoda, Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi also addressed the session and discussed the background note of conducting such Webinars through virtual platforms. He emphasized that these webinars act as networking tools to connect people from across the world and help them to adapt to a New Normal life, a new ecosystem caused by COVID-19 now COVID-21. He also discussed the five phases of COVID-19 i.e. Denial, Anger, Bargain, Depression and Acceptance and motivated the participants to directly move to Acceptance phase from Bargain phase without going into Depression phase, which is also one of the objectives of these weekly webinar series. He also motivated participants to keep learning continuously regardless of all disruptions.

Mr. Vimal Kumar Khanna Founder and Managing Director, mCalibre Technologies and Author of Amazon #1 Best Seller Book "Leading and Motivating Global Teams: Integrating Offshore Centers and the Head Office" published by Taylor & Francis – USA was the lead speaker of the webinar. The webinar was aimed to give an overview of the digital technologies altering our business scenario in the present day. He beautifully explained how these technologies could help businesses survive in these pandemic times. The applications of different types of technologies were wonderfully explained.

The session concluded with Question & Answer session where participants willingly asked their queries. Prof. M. N. Hoda gave his heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Vimal Kumar Khanna for his valuable and detailed session. Prof. Ajay Thakare, IETE, Amravati Centre gave the vote of thanks. He also thanked all the participants and panellist for giving their precious time in attending this webinar and making all the webinars hosted by BVICAM, a huge success. The webinar attracted more than 400 participants from across the world.
