The Webinar was held on 12th June, 2020 in the benign presence of Prof. Subrata Mukhopadhyay, Chairperson, CNA Group, IEEE Delhi Section, Dr. A. Murali M. Rao, Chairperson, CS Chapter, IEEE Delhi Section, Mr. R. K. Vyas, President, CSI, Prof. Ajay P. Thakre, Chairman, TPC, IETE and Dr. Jawed Ahmad, Chairman, ISTE, Delhi Section. The webinar began with the welcome address of Prof. Subrata Mukhopadhyay, giving details of IEEE Delhi Section and the starting of Webinar Series under Delhi Section. It was followed by Prof. M. N. Hoda, Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi. He welcomed all the panelists & attendees and discussed the background note of conducting this Webinar. He also sensitized about the changing practices in Education and Research under the new ecosystem of changing technological paradigm particularly amidst COVID-19. The Webinar was also addressed by Prof. Ajay P. Thakre.
Mr. Dinesh Kumar Singh, Group Leader, TCS Innovation Lab, Mumbai, was the main speaker of the webinar. He started his discussion with the brief introduction of Five Forces empowering Digital Enterprises – Mobility, Big Data Analytics, Social Media, Cloud Computing and AI & Robotics. Continuing with his words, he discussed the systematic approach one should follow to get into the research. A clearly identified problem statement with defined objectives and expected outcomes are the keys to success while doing research. He also threw light on various research areas in the digital age like data science, cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence with associated problems and opportunities.
The session concluded with Question & Answer session in which participants willingly asked their queries. Mr. R. K. Vyas gave his vote of thanks to the speaker and all participants. The webinar attracted 384 participants across the world. Dr. Vishal Jain, Associate Professor, Mr. Manish Kumar, Assistant Professor and Mr. Uttam Singh Bisht, Assistant Professor, BVICAM coordinated the entire session.
