Report:

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi in collaboration with IEEE Delhi Section organised its centenary IEEE-Technical Webinar on 12 th Nov, 2022. The Webinar, being organized as part of celebrations of 75th Anniversary of glorious independence of India, was held in the benign presence of senior dignitaries from all collaborating societies and chapters. The webinar was aimed to give a comprehensive view of “NEP 2020- Opportunities and Challenges" that could be used to improve the privacy of our data. The webinar was presided by Prof. K.K. Aggarwal presently Chairman, National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Prof. M. N. Hoda, Director, BVICAM and Vice Chairperson, IEEE Delhi Section, welcomed the dignitaries and the participants. He emphasized and motivated the participants to keep learning continuously regardless of disruptions, all around us. He introduced the topic and also focused on the fact that how our 36 year old education policy is now outdated. To ensure sustainable national development with suitable adaptable workforce, the NEP-2020 is a landmark move.

Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi Former Vice Chancellor, BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur, Sonipat was the lead speaker of the webinar. She, in detail, discussed how the National Education Policy was incepted, drafted and shall be implemented. She also elaborated how the implementation challenges shall be overcome and what new opportunities shall it unveil.

The session concluded with Question & Answer session where participants willingly asked their queries. Prof. M. N. Hoda gave his heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Pankaj Mittal for her valuable session. He also thanked all the participants and panellist for giving their precious time in attending this webinar and making all the webinars hosted by BVICAM, a huge success. Dr. Ritika Wason, Associate Professor, BVICAM, New Delhi and Ms. Ayushi Chopra, Assistant Professor, BVICAM, were the conveners of the webinar and has coordinated the entire webinar. The other faculty members of BVICAM; Mr. Uttam Singh Bist was working at the backend to make it successful and present it, in seamless manner, to the participants. The webinar attracted huge participation from across the world and Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi, proved itself, once again, as a perfect host.
