A Technical Talk on “Standards, Global Practices and Latest Trends in Research Paper Publications” by Dr. Harry Blom, Vice President, Computer Science, Mathematics and Publishing Development, Springer Nature, New York (USA) was organized on 26-09-2018 by  The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in collaboration with IEEE Delhi Section, ISTE Delhi Section, CSI Div-II, IV and CSI Delhi Chapter at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi. During the technical talk, Dr. Blom discussed about latest trends in Scholarly Publications & Publishing with Springer Nature, Growth in Scientific Production and influence on Peer Review, Growth in Open Science and the use of ORCID & Mendeley in preparation of good research work.

After the talk, dignitaries on the DIAS, which included Ms. Suvira Srivastav, Associate Director, Springer Nature, Prof. M. N. Hoda, Director, BVICAM, New Delhi, Prof. Subrata Mukhopadhyay, IEEE Delhi Section, Prof. N. K. Gupta, ISTE, Delhi Section and Dr. Vinay Kumar, CSI, Delhi Chapter released the Title cover of “IETE-Springer Publication Series”. Prof. M. N. Hoda, Chairman, TPPC, IETE, New Delhi, briefed the members about the IETE activities and the collaborative publication series entitled IETE-Springer Publication Series. Ms. Suvira Srivastav discussed about opportunities to publish good quality work in IETE-Springer Publication Series. The programme was attended by more than 70 participants.
