The Annual Alumni Meet cum Farewell brought together alumni to give them a chance to reconnect with their Alma Mater and relive the carefree days of their college lives. With the objective “Connect, Create and Communicate”, BVICAM, through its Annual Meet emphasized on creating a bond between the passed out students, existing students and the faculty.

Alumni Meet cum Farewell – Reminiscence, was organized by BVICAM on 30^th march 2019. All the alumni and final year students were greeted with ‘Tikka’ as a mark of welcome ceremony. Prof. M. N. Hoda, Director BVICAM, felt pride to share his feelings towards BVICAM that its Alumni are holding positions of responsibility in various organizations. Many of them are successful entrepreneurs providing jobs to others as well. Their contribution towards the growth of their Alma Mater and the need for further strengthening the relationship between the Alumni and BVICAM was also praised by everyone.

The occasion was graced by more than 100 Alumni ranging across various batches from the very first batch of 2002-2005 to 2015-2018 and by the final year students of batch 2016-19. The inaugural session was also attended by the entire staff of BVICAM along with the students of the present batches. The event witnessed fun filled cultural program and games conducted by the first and second year students. A skit performed by the students of current batches and mono-act performed by a second year girl, glued the audience to their seats whereas dance performances by first year girls kept them captivated.

The event also observed prize distribution ceremony. The prizes included honoring some of our distinguished alumni and final year students awarding students for their academic excellence, best student coordinator, support for technical activities etc. The key highlight of the event was the voluntariness of some of our distinguished alumni to take over the stage and perform for one more time and sharing their sweet memories of their batches with the audience. This was welcomed with great spirits by the staff as well as by the students. Great bonhomie was observed everywhere with old students reliving their old memories with their batch mates. Many of the current students were also seen interacting and learning from the experience of their pass out seniors. In all, the ambiance was electric with people seen chatting and dancing in groups. Everyone enjoyed the delicious dinner and said good bye to each other with a promise to meet again. Entire event was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Parul Arora, Associate Professor and Mrs. Tanya Pathak Garg, Assistant Professor, BVICAM in support with the entire team of BVICAM family.
