Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi, organized an Invited Talk by Dr. Ibrahim, from University of Technology, Malaysia on Machine Learning on 5^th March 2019.  Event begun with the floral welcome of Dr. Ibrahim and Prof. Suresh M. Hegde, NIT, Surathkal, Karnatka by Prof. M. N. Hoda, Director BVICAM.

In the welcome address, Prof. S. M. Hegde talked about the MCA course and its value addition with its scope. He motivated students to develop an area of interest and get skilled on their interested domain.

Dr. Ibrahim, in his enlightening talk, discussed Machine learning as an application of AI where system is trained to predict outcomes without being explicitly programmed. He also talked about significance of machine learning and its scope in future. He explained an example of machine learning algorithm using breast cancer data set to predict the chances of breast cancer.   

Faculties of BVICAM and students attended the talk enthusiastically and willingly asked their queires at the end. The entire event was co-ordinated by Dr. Vishal Jain, Assocaite Professor, BVICAM..
