Youth is the spring of life. It is the age of discovery and dreams, of imaginations and inventions. It is the powerhouse of energy and life that, if channelized wisely, would end up doing incredible things and making remarkable developments in this world.

Fresher’s – an interaction between the seniors and juniors to strengthen the bonds of friendship and convert them into everlasting relationships. It is a platform to formally welcome your juniors into your holistic world of responsibilities as well as freedom, learning as well as recreation, conformation as well as innovation. Inquisitive about campus life and conscious of the latest fashion trends the freshers adorned themselves in their best attires to exhibit their multifaceted personalities.

The function started on an auspicious note by lighting the lamp of learning preceded by a speech from the director of our institution. Then followed a mesmerizing dance performance by our juniors that left us captivated. They performed on foot tapping numbers and gracefully danced their way into our hearts. The Mr. and Ms. Fresher’s round comprised of the following three stages: ramp walk, talent round and one minute question round. The first round saw the pretty ladies and suave gentlemen walk down the red carpet and awing the audience by their beauty and glamour. As the mercury began to rise, the dance floor was set on fire for some unbridled energy. The rhythmic pulsation of the beats and the frenzied cheering of the crowd egged the dancers on. A play portraying the different shades of our lives in BVICAM was enacted to give the juniors a glimpse of our on campus life. The talent round unveiled the concealed skills and abilities of the juniors and proclaimed their mastery over dance, singing and mimicry. All their performances were bustling with energy and self-confidence. The band session revealed the budding singers of our college. Truly said, “music is the poetry of the soul and expresses that which cannot be put into words, nor remain silent.”

Last but not the least, the selected participants went onto the one minute question round where their acumen and knowledge was put to test. The teachers judged the participants and finally, the winners were announced. The title of Mr. fresher was bagged by Mr. Ankush Kaushik while Ms. Fresher was taken away by Ms.Saloni Kathuria. The other titles like Miss Vivacious, Mr. Personality and Performer of the day was claimed by Ms Harshi Arora , Mr. Ajay and Pervez and group respectively. This marked the end of the much awaited event followed by a post lunch and DJ party.
