Two Weeks Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was organized on "Emerging Trends in Computer Science & IT", by Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), A-4, Paschim Vihar, Rohtak Road, New Delhi – 110063 in association with IEEE Computer Society (Delhi Section) & IIPC (AICTE) of Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), CSI Division–I & Region – I, ISTE  Delhi Section, from 16^th May to 27^th May, 2016.  The objective of this FDP was to nurture the research aptitude and competency development of the young faculty members, either doing research or planning to undertake research work under the domain of Computer Science and IT, including M. Tech. Scholars. There were technical sessions on latest topics, by experts from Academia and Industry, on important topics like Machine Learning, Soft Computing and Neural Networks, Ad-hoc and Wireless Sensor Networks, Simulation using NS2 & Matlab, Web Mining and Business Analytics,    Information Retrieval, Software Defined Networking, Agile Methodologies, Wearable Computing, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things & Smart Cities, Cyber Security, Forensics, Auditing & Cyber Laws Research Methodology in Computer Science & IT, Art of Writing Quality Research Papers, Technical Proposals, PhD Synopsis, IPR, Plagiarism, Citation Analysis & Impact Factor, Active Learning and best ICT practices for Effective Teaching and Learning System,  There were more than 20 expert speakers from the Industry and Academia like Ms. Suvira Srivastav, Springer, Ms. Anju Mehra, Thomson Reuters, Prof. R.
