The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a milestone document in the context of nationbuilding, which is expected to overhaul the entire academic system in the country from preprimary to tertiary level. The policy has introduced new subjects yet reduced the load of the curriculum on the students. The evaluation and assessment have also been transformed, which will certainly eliminate examination fobia from the students. NEP-2020 is primarily based on multidisciplinearity of education through which every child will be allowed to do what he loves to do as an important step towards nation building. NEP-2020 is a forward looking proactive policy having all round inbuilt flexibility for all the stake holders specially like getting degree at fast track, modular entry and exit, having subjects of their choice, students mobility from one Institution to other, in between the programme, by having Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), getting fast track promotion, centralized research funding, graded autonomy to the Colleges, etc. The webinar is aimed to discuss all these issues, in details.
