One Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Outcome Based Education (OBE) and NBA Accreditation Process"

The objective of this FDP is to nurture the philosophy of Outcome Base Education (OBE) and build the capacity of the young Faculty Members / Heads of department / Principal / Directors of the Institutions, so as to facilitate its institutionalization in the Teaching Learning System and other Academic Processes of the Institution. Development and implementation of good academic processes in institutionalized manner by involving not only teachers but also students and their continuous improvement is paramount in assuring the quality of the outcome of any of the programmes of the Institution. The FDP will be conducted in workshop mode, which will have sufficient discussions, deliberations, in case study approach, as to how re-engineering or fine tuning of the academic processes can drastically improvise the quality of the outcome, which will not only seamlessly facilitate the Institution in getting the NBA Accreditation of the programme but will also develop confidence amongst the stakeholders, in a sustainable manner. In this FDP, there will be technical sessions on the following topics, by experts from Academia and Industry:-   

• Building blocks of Outcome Based Education (OBE)
• Outcome-based NBA Accreditation & SAR
• Outcome-based Education Framework & its Components (Vision, Mission & PEO, PSO, PO & CO)
• Mapping Outcomes, Assessment and Rubrics
• Attainment of CO, PO and Continuous Quality Improvement
• Project-Based Learning and Design of Outcome based Curriculum
• Design of Outcome based Question Paper and Attainment of CO & PO
• Implementing Ethics and Values through Outcome-based Education Framework
• Pre-qualifiers for NBA Accreditation  and SAR Filling
