Today, we live in a pure digital age and are hyper connected with the digital devices, all around us. Contemporary research in the humanities has expanded beyond anything that could be considered traditional. Historians are building interactive digital maps, literary scholars are using computers to look for patterns across millions of books, and scholars, in all disciplines, are taking advantage of the internet & digital technologies to make their work more dynamic and visually engaging. Digital Humanities (DH) is an area of scholarly activity at the intersection of computing or digital technologies and the disciplines of the humanities. It creates a new research landscape of the humanities and social sciences. The webinar will discuss its all round perspective including the real-time issues and the DH projects.
